Candidates are asked to complete an application form and attend an in person audition on NYJC’s national audition tour. Candidates are asked to prepare three tunes comprising one of the ballads and one of the four medium tempo swing tunes selected from the following list, followed by a piece of their own choice which can be unaccompanied. NYJC will provide a pianist to accompany the candidate at their audition.
