We’re excited to let you know that applications for the 2021 Sound and Music Summer School are now open, and will close on Tuesday 6th April at noon.

This year’s Summer School will run from Sunday 1st – Saturday 7th August. Sound and Music Summer School is a week-long residential that gives young composers aged 14-18 the opportunity to explore and develop their musical creativity. Whether they are into songwriting or jazz, film music or classical, this is their chance to take things to the next level.

Sound and Music hope this year’s course will be residential, but their Plan B is to hold the week online, if COVID-19 is still restricting our lives. If this happens, they’ll be building on the success of last year’s digital course, so don’t let uncertainty stop young people from applying!
