12th August 2017 Kings Place London: NYJC is thrilled to be celebrating its land mark 10th birthday with this spectacular and exuberant All-Day Festival of incredible jazz that’s sure to be remembered for decades to come.

From its  gala performance led by NYJC’s President  Dave Holland & Vice President Julian Joseph (supported by 18 of NYJC’s All Star roster of leading British jazz stars) to NYJC national and local  ensembles of enthusiastic and dedicated young musicians (all keen to share their musical journeys and fulfil their true potential).

Thanks to the inspired curation of NYJC’s award winning Founding Artistic Director, Issie Barratt  and relentless dedication and commitment of NYJC’s incredible young musicians and supporting artists, this festival provides a dual celebration – Toasting NYJC’s 10th Birthday with a diverse and eclectic musical programme that champions a hundred years of British Jazz.

A full day of activities with something for everyone, from morning workshops for young people who have never played jazz, to foyer performances, an exhibition of 100 years of British Jazz, NYJC’s pinnacle end of summer school concert and an All Star Concert in the evening – it’s a one-off-spectacular to warm the heart and thrill the musical mind.
