BlueJam Jazz 2015-16

BlueJam Jazz is delighted to be working with the National Youth Jazz Collective to offer:

Young Jazz Musicians Programme

This is a fantastic opportunity for all young musicians aged 8 – 18 interested in jazz to work with expert jazz educators who are also active members of the international jazz scene.

The programme focuses on small group improvisation working together in groups each made up of young musicians of a similar standard.  The workshops are designed to support a wide range of levels of ability from intermediate to advanced. We encourage players of all instruments – even those not traditionally associated with jazz, so please don’t be shy!

The programme consists of 4 intensive weekends of workshops led by NYJC’s tutors. Each weekend ends with an informal concert given to family and friends.

To get the best out of this programme, you need to be able to attend all the sessions. All days start at 10am. Saturdays finish at 5pm, Sundays at 5pm with the informal concert starting at 4pm.
