Best Young Jazz Musicians

Develop your Skills, Passion and Experience

The National Youth Jazz Collective enables young jazz enthusiasts to find equally keen young musicians. Together we help develop their skills, passion and experience as jazz players. With our annual Summer School and series of monthly sessions in different regional centres around England, we support music education by empowering 8–18 year-olds to learn, improvise, compose, arrange and lead bands.

If you care about helping young talented musicians develop their skills and become the new stars of the future we need your support.

Happy Birthday NYJC! Help us raise £15,000 to celebrate our 15th birthday

We have spent the past 15 years supporting the next generation of jazz musicians, and we need your help to reach even more young people. Whether it’s through our regional workshops, our annual Summer School and Short Course or our Ambassadors Scheme, we’re there to support the creative needs of the nation’s up-and-coming jazz stars. NYJC alumni have gone on to become BBC Young Jazz Musician Winners, Grammy and Mercury Prize nominated artists and winners at the Parliamentary Jazz and Jazz FM Awards.
Will you help us support the next young stars on the jazz scene and reach our £15,000 target?
